Pay2See is a system that compresses any file type into a proprietary
encrypted P2S file. Vendors wrap up their own files using the Pay2See
software, enclosing their details and saying whether/how much they want
to charge for access to their site. Visitors to their sites can "unwrap"
the encrypted files on their own machines if they register with Pay2See
and pay on a monthly basis for the downloaded files they unwrap.
The Pay2See external plug-in works with Netscape and Microsoft Internet
Explorer and can be used with any type of file and it is free. It also
accelerates file downloads by "transparently" compressing files by a factor
typically between 2 and 10. It supports
secure credit card transaction - only one credit card transaction is required to
register. Transaction actually take place on a high security server maintained by
